   The 2000 American Mining Hall of Fame banquet, presented by the Mining Foundation of the Southwest, will be held Saturday, December 2, 2000. Once again the banquet will be in the Ball Room of the Westin La Paloma Resort. The Resort is located at 3800 East Sunrise Drive, Tucson, Arizona 85750, 520-742-6000. The event will commence with a hosted cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m., and the Awards Presentation at 8:45 p.m.
